Marketing Direction Sprint

Clear decisions, firm priorities, and a plan bespoke to you.

DSC 5495

If your marketing feels scattergun, reactive, or harder than it should, the problem usually isn’t effort…it’s direction.

The Marketing Direction Sprint is a focused engagement designed to give owner-led businesses just that: clear priorities, confident decisions, and a marketing roadmap that aligns with their business ambitions and objectives.

This is the good stuff – it’s where marketing stops being guesswork.

What this is

Most businesses don’t struggle because they lack ideas. They struggle because no one is owning the direction.

The Marketing Direction Sprint is where I step in as a senior marketing lead to:

You’ll come out with a plan – but more importantly, you’ll come out knowing why you’re doing what you’re doing.

When you need this

You’ll benefit from the Marketing Direction Sprint if…

This is typically the moment businesses decide whether they’re ready to take marketing seriously.

How it works

How the Direction Sprint runs.

01.
Diagnostics

We start by understanding your business – your goals, challenges, customers, and current marketing activity. This includes a diagnostic review.

02.
Making sense of it

I analyse what’s working, what’s not, and where the real opportunities are. This is where patterns emerge and assumptions get challenged.

03.
Setting direction

Together, we define priorities, positioning, and focus. This is where the “nice ideas” turn into firm decisions.

04.
Next steps

You’ll receive a clear, usable roadmap outlining what to do next, what to stop doing, and where to focus over the coming months.

At the end, you’ll know exactly how your marketing should support your business, and why.

Who this is for

This is a good fit if…
This is a good fit if…

This works best when you’re open to challenge and honest conversation.

The Marketing Direction Sprint is a one-off engagement.

Marketing Direction Sprint FAQs
What is a Marketing Direction Sprint?

A Marketing Direction Sprint is a focused, strategic engagement designed to get your marketing back on track. We work together to audit where you are now, identify what’s working (and what’s not), set clear priorities aligned to your business goals, and create a practical plan you can actually follow. It’s about making decisions, not just generating ideas.

Typically 4-6 weeks depending on the complexity of your business. We’ll agree timelines upfront and keep you updated throughout the process.

We can support you with implementation through Marketing Leadership, or on a project basis. We want to see you succeed, and we’d love to be a part of it.

You have options.

  • Some businesses take the roadmap and implement it themselves
  • Some work with existing suppliers using clearer direction
  • Others move into my Marketing Leadership Retainer, where I stay involved as an external Head of Marketing

There’s no obligation either way.
