Marketing Leadership
Your outsourced Marketing Director - no hiring in-house.
Your business is growing, your marketing needs to keep up. Bearhat Marketing is your strategic marketing lead, running your marketing function with the expertise it deserves.

As your business grows, marketing becomes harder to manage alongside everything else. It often falls by the wayside – which can impact your bottom line.
Marketing Leadership is where I become your external Head of Marketing. I take responsibility for strategy, priorities, and performance, so marketing supports the growth of your business, rather than falling to the bottom of the priorities pile.

Who Marketing Leadership Is For
For businesses who are ready to treat marketing as a key part of growth, but don’t need (or want) to hire in-house.
They need to know their marketing is in the best hands so that they can get on with what they do best – running their business.
It’s ideal if…
- You’re too busy to manage marketing yourself
- Your efforts feel scattered or reactive
- You’ve outgrown freelancers but don’t need an agency
- You want someone experienced to take ownership and drive your business forward
- You’re ready to invest, but want to keep things lean and agile
How we can work together
Find direction
Most clients begin with a Marketing Direction Sprint. This sets priorities, focus, and expectations so we’re not guessing once ongoing support starts.
Retainer
(most popular)
This is how I work with most of my clients, to allow more flexibility (and because we love working together!)
Project
For businesses that need expertise to deliver one clearly defined project.
How I transformed Olton Bedrooms...

Why work with Bearhat Marketing?
Bearhat Marketing is run by me, Victoria Steele.
After over 12 years in the agency world, I started Bearhat to offer businesses senior-level marketing leadership, without the big-agency costs and restrictions.
I treat your business like my own:
- clear strategy
- honest feedback
- data-led decisions
- easy, clear communication
I'm often asked...
How do I know which support level is right for me?
You don’t need to decide right away. Start by getting in touch and telling us a bit about your business. We’ll recommend the level that makes most sense based on your goals, setup and budget.
Can I switch between support levels later?
Yes. Support can flex with your business. If you need to scale up or scale down, we’ll adjust the plan to suit. There are no rigid contracts or awkward upsells.
Do I have to manage anyone else?
Nope. If we bring in other specialists (like a designer or ad manager), we’ll manage them directly. Everything runs through Bearhat, so you don’t have to play project manager.
How is this different from hiring a freelancer or agency?
This is hands-on marketing leadership, not just task delivery. You get someone who takes responsibility for the strategy and the execution, without the overhead of a full-time hire or the churn of an agency. This is somebody that feels in house, that is on your side.
Is there a minimum commitment?
We usually work on basic 6 months contracts, but if you prefer a rolling contract, that’s no problem at all.
